How do I change the user name of my computer?

I bought a laptop off someone, I'm assuming he setup the name when he cleared
data. I was able to personalize teh admin. name, but the name that refers to
cookie files, etc is bothing me.
At my log in page it reads:
TINYDANCER\endyear(TinyDancer) .. I want to change the part that says
endyear

Help!
 
Sorry about the double post... first attempt send me an error message saying
it was undeliverable.
 
Hi,

Did you try clearing out the cache from IE as well as all temporary files
from c:\windows\temp.

Cookies are not permanent and can be cleared out through IE.

Hi - I see you're using the web interface to the newsgroups. This is not the
best way to get here, and has many problems besides duplicate posts
(although that occurs frequently). Try using a news client, such as Forte
Agent, Thunderbird, or even Outlook Express, rather than the pretty clunky
web interface to the newsgroups. It's a lot easier to do nearly everything
that way. You can mark messages to be watched, filter the views so you can
see replies to your posts easily, and search.

The Microsoft public news server is msnews.microsoft.com and you can
subscribe to as many groups as you like; no authentication is required.
