How do I change the senders name in Outlook?

Hi, I have recently taken over as a secretary but every email I'm sending out
has the name of the old secretary in the "from" part of the address in the
email. This is confusing many clients. How do I change it?

Please help me!

Are you connecting to an Exchange Server or a standard Internet type mail
server? If it's the Internet (POP3) type, you can change it in the
properties of the email account. What version of Outlook are you using?
 
I think its POP3. I'm not sure about what version it is. I apologise for
being a bit useless hehe

In Outlook or using the Mail applet in Control Panel, go into the e-mail
account definition and put whatever you want in the Your Name and E-mail
Address fields.
