how do I change the photo file size in front page 2003

the pictures i am trying to enter are too large. They are about 1.67 megs and
they need to be about .34. Is there a way to reduce the size of the photo
file?

I recommend IrfanView
www.irfanview.com

You can resize, e.g. 800*600 or whatever suits around about this size.
When saving as jpeg, select 75%

You should get down to about 50KB
