An easy one...
When I load windows explorer, it defaults to the C drive. Fine, but how do I
change the default to the drive/path that I use most regularly?

Go to Programs>Accessories - right click on the Windows Explorer icon,
select Properties and type or copy/paste the following into the Target
box:

%systemroot%\EXPLORER.EXE /e,x:

where "x" is your desired drive or path.

You can also create a Desktop icon for Windows Explorer with the same
command.
