First time I used Outlook 2003 and clicked a hyperlink embedded in a message,
it asked me for the application to be used as a link browser. How do I go
back and change my selection?

I think your problem is this one:
http://www.slipstick.com/problems/firefox.htm. To restore it to IE, go to
IE's tools, options, programs and reset it. Other browsers might have
similar options.
