I am trying to use Themes and borders. I want to chose my own colors (and
other items such as fonts and font sizes) The custom options don't seem to
provide enough control. Suggestions?

Hello FrontPageNewUser77,

I'm also a new Front Page user. (Front Page 2003)

I'm creating some hyperlinks on my web site as well, and I've found that if
I highlight (select) my hyperlink (linkbar) and then go to Format>Font,
instead of Format>Theme, then I get all the options I want in terms of font
size, boldness, colour, etc. including the customization of individual
colours.

I believe the "Theme" option is more commonly used as a preset set of styles
that you've already created, but on a one-off basis, by going to the "Font"
selection, you should be able to customize each hyperlink (link bar)
individually.

I wish you the best of success with this. Please let us know how it worked
out for you!

Regards,
Karen

Thank you for the reply.

I'm not sure that it helped as much as I wanted (it did change some of the
fonts, but not all). Now that I've browsed the discussion community a bit, I
think I'm better off going for a Dynamic Web Template instead of a Theme and
Borders.

Yes, Matthew, I would have to agree with you on that one!

Even while using Word 2003, some of the pre-existing templates I've used
seem to have embedded styles that I am still unable to alter or customize
(I'm still not sure why that is).

Wishing you the best of luck with your web site!

Karen
