Does anyone know how to change the default search
provider in IE? Some stupid thing called "ramgo.com" has
taken over and has 0 results for everything. Also, if you
know how to track these turds down and make them eat soap
I'd appreciate that too. Thanks!

Most malicious software can be removed if you would
invest in a small
arsenal of tools:

For spyware:
SpybotSD - Search & Destroy by PepiMK Software:
http://security.kolla.de/index.php?lang=en&page=download

Adaware by Lavasoft:
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/
===============================
change the search thing in:
start > search (windowskey+F).
on left slide down to [change preferences].
then [change internet search behavior].
make desired changes
press ok

First eliminate any scumware.
See

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
