How do I change all birthday reminders from 2005 to 2006

new to outlook epxpress, but I want to update the 2005 calendar and all the
birthday reminders etc to 2006, is there a quick and easy way to do it
 
if they are recurring events they will update themselves. Otherwise, open
each and edit them.
