How do you remove a meeting created in the owner's calendar but it remains
in the attendees calendars. It may not be a design feature of Outlook 2003
but I know it can be done. Does anyone know how to achieve this?

The only reason to do this (that I can think of) may be that you are
making meetings for other people, but you do not want them to show
on your own calendar.

If this is the case, I suggest that you make a secondary Calendar
folder and perhaps call it "Other People's Meetings". Then use this
sub folder to make your meetings for other people. This way, you
would be able to retain the meeting information, Cancel it if necessary,
and still not effect your own calendar.

I need to cancel or remove or hide the meeting from my Boss' calendar as he
cannot attend the meeting, but the meeting still has to continue in his
absence.

I suppose you could use Categories to mark meetings with and
then view the calendar showing only particular views.

Example: If I set up meetings in my calendar and mark one of
them with the "Personal" category, then I can view my calendar
showing only meetings that have a "Personal" category.

Is he the organizer? If not, you should be able to simply delete the
meeting.

I have now managed to remove the calendar entry from my boss's calender (he
is the organizer) and leave it in the attendees calendar. By going into my
Boss' calender and deleting the meeting without sending a cancellation
notice. This has left the meeting in the attendees calendar
