Hi

I am hoping someone could point me in the right direction for this.

I am interested in building an exmin into a training presentation I have
created using a Powerpoint presentation. The idea is to have multiple choice
questions and the the score being recorded at the end.

If someone could advise a starting point i.e. is it possible in Powerpoint,
do I need to use another program.

Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks

Paul

Hi Paul

David's excellent site/book will get you started at least.
http://www.loyola.edu/edudept/PowerfulPowerPoint/

If once you've had a play, if you have any specific questions come back &
start a thread - there are excellent vba-ers here (I'm not one unfortunately)
and they are VERY generous with their help.

Good luck with the project

PowerPoint may help you build multiple choice quizzes, but is not able
to record the score at the end.You may reserve the answers as
animations. If you want to record the results at the end, you need a
third part software to make it.There are many quiz makers out there,
such as Tanida QuizBuilder, Wondershare QuizCreator and Articulate
QuizMaker. Articulate and Wondershare also provide a PowerPoint to
flash conversion tool to cooperate with their quiz software. You may
use those tools to convert your PowerPoint presentations to flash
ones, and embed the quiz into your presentations. With QuizMaker you
need another tool,Articulate Portal, to collect the test results,
while Wondershare QuizCreator provides you ASP&PHP samples to do so.
Articulate QuizMaker creates both graded quizzes and surveys, while
Wondershare QuizCreator creates graded quizzes only. But, consider the
price, I suggest Wondershare QuizCreator.

Thanks, Lucy. If you go to the site, Lucy mentioned, you can go to
"Examples by Chapter" and "Chapter 7." You will find many quiz examples
that keep score there. They are all explained in the (overpriced) book,
but the examples are free for the taking. Note that you need Macro
Security set to Medium (recommended) or Low (not recommended) before
running these examples, and you need to extract them from the Zip file
after you download them.
