How do I bring in saved contact info when I reload Outlook?

I saved my data for addresses and then copied them into the local
settings\application data\microsoft\outlook; but they are still not showing
up in Outlook. Is there a way to bring this information back and not start
over?

You posted neither your Outlook version nor what you did.
There is no separate "data for addresses." All Outlook data is contained in
one file.
The Help files contain the instruction for the proper way to migrate Outlook
