I'm trying to compare different products and their features to make a buying
decision. How do I begin?

are we talking about buy excel or using excel to compare the purchase of
another product - if the later use the "features" method that you see used
in marketing materials (names of products down the side, "features" across
the top & ticks in the intersection where the product has that feature).

hope this helps

What are you trying to buy and what are you currently considering?

Hi,

This is a Business 101 question. Define your objectives. List the relative
features of products you are considering and compare to the desired end
result. I'm an accountant so I would probably do this with an Excel
spreadsheet. Hope this helps some.

bye

For starters, your

Column A should contain the product descriptions -- model/brand,etc..
Column B should contain the corresponding prices
