I'm using Office 2003 and in particular OUTLOOK. In my time with Outlook
Express there was a facility which automatically saved a senders email
address in the Address Book but I can't find a similar function in
Outlook. How do I address this problem?

Surely you jest.
I can't imagine anyone would want to save senders addresses automatically.
Mercifully, no such feature exists.

Great! Wins what!!!???

When I right click, there is not an "Add to Contacts" in the drop down menu.
Can you think of a reason why?

What are you right-clicking on?
Open a message
Right-click on the sender's name/address

You ought to see 'add to contacts'.

Thank you Judy!!! I've recently switched from Outlook Express to Outlook and
have been looking for that process for 2 weeks.
