How do I arrange my e-mail address list to list as "file as"

While sending an e-mail, the drop down box containing the e-mail addresses
available used to file in a "file as" format in the Outlook 1998 program that
I had before upgrading to the Outlook 2003 program that wants to file
everything by mostly first name, some company names, and very few last names.
Is there a way to change it to listing by "file as" names in the drop down
box?

Sounds like you imported your contact information from Outlook 98 and did so
incorrectly. Care to state how you moved your OL 98 data into OL 2003?

In OL go to Tools, E-Mail accounts, and enter a dot in View or Change . . .
Highlihgt your OL Address Book (if not already highlighted) and select
Change. In the window that opens you can switch your setting for Show Names
By.

The default setting is First Name, Last Name. This is great if you know all
10 people in your Contacts. Otherwise it does not seem very practical, at
least to me. File As makes a lot of sense to me but I find it odd that OL
does not have a setting for Last Name, First Name.
