How do I alter the search box web component that I've added?

Hi - I've added a web search box to my web pages by using a web component. I
would like to alter it so that it doesn't take up so much space and so that
there is no reset button. Also, I'd like the submit button to be to the
right of the text field, not 2 rows below it. I can't seem to alter this via
the code or anything. Is there any way to change it? If not, how do I add a
site search to my pages with the look that I want?

Thanks!
Suzy

Hi SuzyQ,

Are you speaking about the FP search component? If so, you can only modify it cosmetically

Yes, the FP component that's added by selecting Insert --> Web Component.
Can I not remove that Reset button and prevent it from taking up 4 rows and
the whole width of the page? If not, how else can I add a web site search to
my site that would allow me to manipulate the layout of the search box field?

Thanks,
Suzy

Not possible with the FP search component. You would have to search for a 3rd party search
component.

TBMK, you can delete the reset button and resize the search box. along with redesigning the remainder of the page. The form and the
webbots that it contains can not be modified.

Okay, thanks for the clarification. If anyone knows of any good 3rd party
search components, can you let me know what you suggest?

Thanks!

That cannot be done within FrontPage, and using an external editor (on
the live site) may result in the search failing, and the modifications
being reset the next time the web is published or Hyperlinks
recalculated.

The search form, including the buttons, is part of the webbot.
