How do I alter my site's photos?

Maids To You

I am looking to fade a photo from one side to another, as well as to round
the corners of the photos and layers. Any ideas?
 
fade with Javascript...do a Google.
rounded corners will be a pain to do if you're fading because you'll have to
create rounded corners exactly for each image...doable though.
