How do I alphebetize icons in the dialog box?

When I want to save or open a file or document, the dialog
box that appears used to list the files and folders in
alphabetical order. I don't remember changing the
settings, but now the icons appear in some seemingly
random order. I know I can click on the "view" button at
the top of the box to re-order the icons, but why should I
have to?

How do I set the default view in the dialog box to an
alphabetized list like it used to show?
 
Are you using Office?

Does it work if you go into Windows Explorer. Sort the window by files by
clicking the grey area at the top of the Name column. Go toTools, Folder
Options, View, Like Current Folder.

If that doesn't work then in the Save window click the Details button, sort
by Name, switch back to List. Any luck?
