How do I allow IEEXEC as a program execption to the XP firewall

If I look at the list of exceptions, IEEXEC is not there.
If I click add program exception, IEEXEC is not in the 'recognized' list.
If I browse to IEEXEC and click OK, I get an error telling me that IEEXEC is already in the list.

???
Thanks

Very well, but just FYI.
There are more actual XP Firewall questions asked and answered in this forum than the one you pointed me to.
This is after all an XP (or possibly 2003 SP1) specific question, not a general firewall question.

Hi,

This command will list the allowed program exceptions (run it in a
command prompt, Start/Run --> cmd.exe):

netsh.exe firewall show allowedprogram

In registry, the exceptions will be listed here (note that the entries
that are enabled there have :Enabled: in the entry data):

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess
\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\DomainProfile\AuthorizedApplications\List

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess
\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile\AuthorizedApplications\List

Thank you
