How do I allow back spacing in a form text field?

I have created a form using jscript for validation in Frontpage 2003, but I
cannot backspace when I type in a text field. Is there something I need to
add to the script to allow users to do this? I have published it to the web
and that doesn't help.

If you are testing it using the firefox browser then backspacing may not
work. This is not a FrontPage problem, but I firefox problem. Sorry.
