How do I add to File Open Dialog

Hi,
we use the windows file system as a simple archive for orders. How do I
add a shortcut to the File Open and File Save As common dialog boxes in the
list that is on the left (includes History, Desktop, My Documents etc.)?

Next question: Does anyone know how to go 1 step further and run a program
or control from this and select the folder that the program returns? I want
to add a prompt for an order number and have the open/save as dialog select
the relevent folder.
