Example: I use military time, 24hours. As an example: I have 18:35 in a
field, and want to add 2:40, giving me 21.15. How do I get this?

Well, I just type 18:35 in one cell, 2:40 in another cell, and then
summed them. It came up correctly.
You could also add .1111111111 to your time which is the decimal
equivilent to 2:40.

FYI, I found .1111111111 by typing 2:40 into a cell, and then changing
the cell format over to a number with plenty of decimal places.

HTH,
Chris M.
