Built XPe load with Target Designer using EWF RAM filter.
Went to deploy for a simulated application. Tow problems
same issue, how do I edit the static IP address and the
computer name and make it stay? Anytime we lose power I
have to go back and re-enter the IP address and the
computer name. My customers ONLY use static IP addresses
but even if I could get them to use DHCP I still have the
computer name that must be changed.
Is there a way to toggle on/off the RAM filter?

Paul:

You can commit the changes to disk then perform a graceful shutdown/restart.

I have a web-interface that allows this type of configuration to be
performed remotely. When the computer name, ip address, subnet mask, etc.
is changed, I execute a bat file that commits the changes to disk (ewfmgr
C: -commit) then I restart.

Yes. Look into ewfmgr.exe and its usage. That will help you with what
you're trying to do. Doing a search on the archives of this newsgroup using
google will give you basically everything you need. Just search for
"ewfmgr".

If you have further questions, feel free to email me (remove the nospam.).

Hi Doug,

I am very much interested in your web-interface !! Is
there a way for me to check it out, or let me know how it
works ? I do have a simple "ewf-commit" batch file for
our device, but it sounds like having a web-interface
would definitely enhanced it.

Best regards,
Lawless
