How do I add contacts received from an emailed distribution list to my
Contacts?

I have received a distribution list but cannot export and import. When I
double click there is a message that the underlying data cannot be found.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

In what format was the DL sent?
It needs to be sent as an Outlook Item in an RTF message. Then you can open
and save it to your own Contacts Folder.

I am having trouble with this. Someone emailed me a distribution list in rtf
format. How do I get that into my Contacts?

I saved file to my desktop, then tried File > Import > Import from file, but
the only usable way I found was Tab Separated Values (windows) which wants a
..txt file, and then you have to drag/drop info into categories (hours of
work).

Sorry for the long read, any help is appreciated, I search the boards but no
answer to this probably easy answer.

thanks!
Jason

You should be able to just drag the DL into your Contacts folder.
