How do I add color to bullets leaving text black?

I'm trying to add color to the bullets in my powerpoint slides without
changing the color of the font. So the bullet will be one color and my font
will be another. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

(PP 97-2003) Click on the bulleted paragraph, then select Format - Bullets
and Numbering ...

Colour of the bullet is lower left of dialogue.

(PP 2007) Click on the bulleted paragraph, then on the "Home" ribbon, click
the Bullet drop-down, then Bullets and Numbering ...

Colour of the bullet is lower left of dialogue.

The text colour remains pristine and virginal
