How do I add clips to an existing DVD?

I film my kid's B-Ball games each week and burn them to a DVD. Is it
possible to add a new game each week so that I would have the entire season
on one DVD? Each game takes up about 5GB of data in its raw unedited format.
Afgter I run it through Movie Maker it is a much more managable size but I
cannot delete the original capture and still keep the smaller versoin for
future burning.
Can DVDs in Movie Maker not be "finalized" so that other clips can be added
later? If not, what program do I need?

If you want to create a simple Data DVD
for archival storage...you should be able to
accomplish it with the software that came with
your burner. Adding the new files each week
should not be a problem as long as you do
not finalize the disk.

Are you saving the footage edited in Movie
Maker in a video format?

To save as an .avi movie file...
(and several other options)
Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard /
Choose...My Computer /
Next /
Enter a Name and a Save Location /
Next /
Show More Choices /
Other Settings /
Open the drop window and choose...DV-AVI /
Next /
Wait while the movie is saved /
Finish...

To save as a .wmv movie file...
Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard /
Choose...My Computer /
Next /
Enter a Name and a Save Location /
Next /
Tick...'Best Quality For My Computer'
Next/
Wait while the movie is saved /
Finish...
