Hi,

I went into msconfig but the program wasn't listed and I saw no way of
adding a program to the Start-Up tab and there's no option in the program to
do it either.

How would I go about doing this?

Right click the Start button and select Explore, or Explore All Users. Open Programs, Startup. Create a shortcut to the program there, or copy an existing shortcut to this folder.

Hi Denise,

Part of this process is going to depend on what it is you want to have
launch by default. Typically if an application has the option to load at
windows start then when you enable it, if it isn't already, it will
automatically place it in the startup for you.

If it's an application like Outlook, for example, you can place it in the
Startup folder under All Programs. The easiest way to do this would be to
navigate to the startup folder by right clicking on the start button and
selecting open from the context sensitive menu. After you do this then you
can drill down to the startup folder. You drill down through Programs, then
into Startup. After you are there you can copy a shortcut to the application
in there and that will automatically launch the application for you whenever
you log into Windows.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Vision. I appreciate your help also. It was one of those programs
that could be started when a pc is booted.
