I have a .pdf file that I want to add to my website but if I insert the file
it goes gobblededook. I want my readers of the website to be able to download
this .pdf.

Hi rose.quartz,

If by download you mean for people to simply view the .pdf file..then simply
create a link to it. People will need a .pdf viewer installed on their
computer (which most do) in order to view it. It's a good idea to also
include a link to the Adobe site for those that don't have it so they can
get the free version.

If you mean that you want people to download the file and store it somewhere
on their computer..then Zip the .pdf file..and then link to that zipped
file. When someone clicks the link..they will then see the download dialogue
box.
