Several months ago I was having problems with a power saver that I thought I had resolved (it was freezing on boot 70% of the time), and read in some forum that the way to fix it permanently was to convert from FAT32 to NTFS. So, after I'd had many clean boots with no problems I issued the convert command at restarted...
Now it's freezing again. Does all the checking for disk space, etc., and then just sits there forever saying that's is starting the conversion process.
I don't have all the specs on my machine handy (it's upstair, dead), but it's a SystemMax, about 2 years old, running XP. Don't even remember how big the harddrive is but I want to say around 200GB, maybe bigger...
Any ideas on how to abort this convert? Or how to push it along?
