how do cancel the "edit picture" in word 2007?

I have pasted a document into a Word 2007 document from another program. It
was pasted as a HTML. I found by right-clicking, I could edit it as a
picture (change text etc). However I cannot get out of the 'edit picture'
mode.

Any ideas, please
 
I found this problem quite annoying a moment ago.

Actually, in word 2007, what you need to do to edit the pic, is after clicking(select) on the pic, go to the tab of Format, under size subtab, you'll find crop! This works fine and can cancel the editing mode as you wanna to.

Anyway, this works only for cropping, hope this may give you some hint.
