How do a search for issue before posting it as new?

I've been frustrated by MSAS telling me about the same
new software being detected almost every time I log on.
MSAS mistakenly thinks it is new.

Before posting it as an error, I would like to check for
previous posts. How can I do that most efficiently?

You are using these groups via the abysmal HTML interface, with no search
mechanism, that Microsoft has managed to provide so far in this beta.

If you are on a broadband connection, and want full text search
capabilities, read these groups via NNTP in a newsreader.

One newsreader is Outlook Express. If you use Outlook for email. it will
invoke Outlook Express for newsgroup use.

The instruction for how to do this are in the top panel when you first open
these groups via the HTML interface--scroll down for all the details. It
takes a little work, and there are less than half-a-dozen details to get
right, but once it is set up, you can download the full text of every
message ever posted to these groups and search them locally.

It's not an error if you are logging into a limited user
account.

The current release only supports the administrator
account that installed the application.
