I know the basics of Access and of Website Design. I have never created an
online store before and need help!!! Please!!

If Access is not a good web development application, then could you tell me
what is. I really don't want some other online store to sell our products.
Thanks

Using an on-line service can be at lots of different levels. My wife had
contracted with on that just managed the shopping cart and purchase. I
developed all the catalog and other pages using ColdFusion or ASP. Our
product descriptions had a "buy" button that contained the URL for the
shopping cart provider with the item number and other information.

The shopping cart site didn't host any of our images or web pages or
anything other than keeping a list of items with a short description and
price.

It was our store, our web pages, our images, etc. I didn't want to manage
the shopping cart and handling financial transactions. The service did this
quite well and simply made deposits in our bank account as purchases were
completed.

Did you research any of the links I provided? Do you really think you want
to handle on-line money transfers? This would be quite an undertaking for
someone who knows "the basics of Access and of Website Design". This is no
slam on Access or your abilities. It just seems to make sense to me.

Thanks for the advice. I will check into that.
