I had to perform a system recovery (non-destructive). Everything appears to
be fine but now my 150g hard drive is nearly full! I know it was only about
40-50% before I had the crash.

How did this happen? How can I get rid of the files that probably got
doubled?

Thanks for the assistance.

The operative word is non-destructive which I believe makes a new copy of
things without overwriting the original. Try Disk Cleanup.

I will look at this when I get back to my computer. Temp files are easy to
get rid of. Do you think it doubled all of my files. Like stated before, I
had a 50% room, now only about 1-5%. It would make sense that everything was
doubled and can I find these to delete one set?

To me it sounds more likely you did a parallel install and have ended up
with two copies of XP on the same drive and in the same partition. But
without actually at your Windows Explorer it's difficult to tell!
