How Database corrupts in Access 97 while using with VB

I'm using a package developed in VB and Ms Access 97 as
backend.The database craches or gives "unrecognised
database format" error vey frequently.What might be the
reason.

What might be the reason.

It might be one of many reasons, but the most common, in myu experience,
would be a dropped/broken network connection while some operation was in
progress, or a power outage, or a user who powered down their machine
instead of closing and shutting down gracefully. The best collection of
