I have a template which has some text boxes inside of it. How can I copy
the whole template? Can't seem to select all and insert it into another
document or location on the same document.

If you need to see what I have to help me feel free to provide an email
address? Appreciate any help.

Graham,

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes I have it saved, I guess I don't understand
templates. Take a look at http://franz.org/certificate.doc. I can't add
text on the same page that this graphic is on. Why can't I get the cursor
to go to a place on the page outside of the graphic and just type normal
text? If I INSERT this FILE into another document I have the same behavior.
I just don't have much control as to where I want to position it on a page?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for the quick reply.

This has nothing to do with templates. It has to do with how Word handles
graphics.

1) You can have them in line with text. That is treated as a big character.
This sounds like the way you are doing it.

2) You can have them float behind or in front of text. If behind, you can
type right over the top of it. If in front, you can type behind it but won't
see your text. These are often used for watermarks in headers or footers.

3) You can have text wrap around the graphic. This sounds like what you
want. I would suggest either square wrapping or tight wrapping.

To set these, right-click on your graphic and go to Format Picture or Format
Drawing and click on the layout tab.
