How copy from a compact disc onto hard drive?

I need to copy a programme (on CD) I am taking. It is about Microsoft Office
XP but NOT IN Microsoft Office. I have Windows 2000.

This question does not appear to have anything to do with Microsoft Access,
the subject of this newsgroup. Have you tried simply opening Windows Explorer,
opening your D: drive (or whatever drive letter has the CD), and dragging the
file onto your desktop?
