Hi! I have a "2 week old" new computer at the office. I am currently using
windows XP with microsoft excel 2007. Prior to this, i was using IMAC.
After transferring all my old excel files from IMAC to my new computer, I
discovered that when i "move/copy" a sheet from the file created in my IMAC
to a new worksheet, the dates just automatically changes.
Can somebody please help me with this.

I am not familar with 2007, but assume the issue is the same as with 2003
the date format is different for macs than for IBMs
try
tools-options-calulation set 1904 date system. (the path may be different
for 2007)

When MS ported XL from Mac to Windows back in the late 80's, they chose
to use a different default date system (the 1900 system) rather than
MacXL's default 1904 date system.

Choose Tools/Options/Calculation and check the 1904 date system
checkbox.

Note that the date systems are 1462 days apart (because the 1900 system
includes a bogus 2/29/1900 date), so you can add or subtract 1462 to get
from one system to another without changing the options.
