I have a Win XP system and am printing to a Konica (8050) color copier/printer with a fiery s300/ip901 print controller. I am using adobe photoshop 7 and am printing files that are originaly 200-400mb. The print time can take anywhere from 30-40min per file. 80% of the print time is spent spooling and sending the file to the Konica. We are on a 10/100 dell switch and when I print from a MAC with the mac address the job will print in less than half the time of Win XP. Konica has said that the problem is in windows. They say that Win 2k and Win XP both have this issue and that there is a workaround but they didn't have it. Any help on this issue would be great.

Use the Standard TCP/IP port rather than the Lpr port and using the custom
settings make sure you don't have byte counting enabled.
