I want the backgrounds in my front page web site to alternate every so often,
can this be done? Also is this possible for pictures?

Alternate how. What are the images?

One possibility is that the OP wants a different image each time the page
loads.
Another possibility is that after the page is loaded , the image changes at
say 30 second intervals.
Or even, the image changes every few days (or weeks or whatever)

04fais,
All of these are possible.

Please help us to help you by letting us know

Or maybe it just has repeating 'bands' in the graphic?

I had to think about this, but now I understand.

I thought "alternating in time". You thought "alternating in space".

Interesting! Perhaps it says something about different personalities or
perceptions :-))

Yeah - normal vs badly distorted. You figure out which belongs to who! 8)

By the way, why are there so many flies in Canberra?

It was built on a sheep station. Nuff said

And others say it is because of all the turds there.
Canberrra being the capital.:-)

I mean what Trevor L. said like: having an alternating background every 30
seconds or so. Hope that helps.

Heh - sorry for the momentary hijack.

GOOGLE "rotating images" or "rotating background" and you will probably find
50 scripts to do this.
