How can you put exponents on a number?

I am trying to do a math project on powerpoint and i don't know how to put
the exponents!!!! Please help!!!
 
Hi

Highlight the number ->format -> font -> superscript. If you are wanting to
do more complex equations you can use insert-> object-> create new ->
microsoft equation 3.0

Highlight the number you want to be 'little' then go to the format menu and
select the font option. Or right click and select font. There is a tick box
for superscript about in the middle.

Oh hang on, are you using 2007? If so try Home->Font->launch the dialogue (I
think there's a little button to press that shows more options)

Yeah, the dialog launchers (and that's what they're actually called!) are a
tiny little square on the lower right-hand corner of the various chunks.

BTW Echo I'm going through your excellent 'what's new in 2007' page as a
starting point - my new computer with vista & 2007 arrived on Monday and
today is my fun day to play. I'm also finding the Ribbon Mapping Workbook at
the bottom of this page handy:

Oh, you were completely right -- I was just tossing in some additional
information. :-)

Glad the "what's new in 2007" is helpful. I hope to find some tuits in a few
weeks to flesh out some instructions for various new and changed features.

Thanks for the link to the ribbon mapping workbook -- that does look
helpful! I was thinking there's another thing like that around, but I can't
seem to find it right now. Hm.
