How can IConvert macintosh operating system 10 files To Windows operating system

Help requested,

I have a class at CUNY Lehman college in the Bronx and am
currently using Adobe products on a macintosh OS X
operating system. I would like to work on assigned
projects at home. I have no trouble creating files in
Adobe Illustrator on Windows 2000 saving them on a USB
drive and reading and using them on the Mac OS X operating
system at class, but can not read files created on Mac OS
X saved to USB from Windows 2000. Can you recomend a
procedure or software product that can allow me to read
files created on Mac OS 10 on my Windows 2000 OS system?
