How can I view a powerpoint presentaion on a regular TV?

Is it possible to view a powerpoint presentation on a regular TV without any
additional equipment?
 
Well, I assume you are not connecting your laptop to the TV. Some newer
TVs have USB inputs, and I think they can show JPG files so you could
save your presentation as a series of pictures. Alternatively, you could
create a video of your presentation to burn to a CD or DVD:
