Wow. That's a question that requires hundreds of pages of answers.
Fortunately for you a lot of them available on-line.
The very first thing I suggest is that you get yourself over to:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/
Start with the Windows 2000 Server section there:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/windows2000serv/default.mspx
For your Windows 2000 clients, start here:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/Windows2000Pro/default.mspx
You're going to have to get down and dirty with your software providers to
be sure that all the software you're using can be migrated. You may be
looking at database engine and client upgrades, application upgrades,
patches or updates, and that's stuff we simply can't advise you on here.
You may also want to consider hiring qualified and experienced help for the
planning and migration stages, especially if you aren't Windows 2000-savvy.
A few bucks paid up-front can save many more dollars down-stream that you
might otherwise have to spend if something goes wrong during the process.

I need to upgrade the windows NT network which comprises 15 servers ans 300
hosts the windows 2000 servers. The DC's are running Windows NT and the
BDC's are NT. How can I upgrade the whole network into Windows 2000 Network
without being affected by the migration. I have around 800+ users.
