Hi,

I am trying to apply kb 310339. It should fix some errors
on my domain controller. My problem is that when I try to
add a new key to the registry (using both regedit and
regedt32) I cannot enter the REG_DWORD value Microsoft
tells me to.

The info is:
Value Name: MaxDgramBuffering (this is fine)
Data Type: REG_DWORD (this is fine too)
Value: 0x40000 (I cannot type this in as the box will not
accept the x)

Can anyone help?

Best Regards,

Joe

Choose the hex radix and enter "4000" without quotes.
