New user of XP Pack 2. Sole Proprietpr trying to iron out problems
associated with changeover after a crash. I cant turn off windows messenger.
Keeps popping up and i think interfering with other programmes.
 
This Is an MS Access Newsgroup you would be better placing a post in a MS
Messenger Newsgroup

(I am not using Windows XP SP2 yet so I am not sure whether this applies to
you.

In Windows Messenger screen , use the menu Tools / Options ... / Preferences
tab and uncheck the option "Run this program when Windows start" and see if
it stops.

BTW, this newsgroup is for Microsoft Access (a database application), not
general computer "access".
 
Ok but i couldn't find a windows messenger forum. Thought this was a generic
one must have misposted.
