?? How can I turn my Virus Protect back on??

It seems that when I go to the Windows Security Center I
can not turn my virus protection back on...Don't know why
it turned off in the first place. Does the Netsky.w32
virus do this...I am afraid I might have it.

What should I do to turn my virus protect back on and to
get rid of any virus I might have?

Thanks to anyone that can help. (I think Microsoft should
offer SOME help without charging $)
 
If it's like my McAfee you have to do that in the virus protection program
itself. The Sec. Center just shows if it's on or not.
