In my 'Sent' folder in Outlook, i open a mail mesasge. in the "To:" field,
it has the persons name, not their Email, like "Bill Smith". When i click
on their name, the Outlook Contact i have for that person opens up. But, i
have multiple Email addresses in that Contact. How can I tell which actual
Email address it was actually sent to? The person did not receive it, and
we are trying to figure out where it actaully went.

Thank you. Tom

Right click to properties, also brings up the Outlook contact, which
continas the multiple Email addresses, so you still don't see which exact
address it was sent to.

I archive my Inbox and Sent files in a separate folder. When I view the
messages from within that other folder and then click (or right click and
select properties) on a name in the "to" header, the Contact box doesn't
pop up. Instead, a box titled "e-mail properties" pops up. That box shows

If you're currently viewing the message in the view pane and double click
(or right click and select properties), the e-mail address shown is the
e-mail add to which the message was sent.

Here's a simpler solution, where you will not need to transfer files to a
separate folder:

While the sent message is displayed in view pane - place cursor over name in
To header. A gray button will appear. Move cursor over to gray button and
a down arrow will appear. Click on arrow and a drop down menu will appear.
The fourth line says "Send mail (e-mail address)." That e-mail address is
the address to which the e-mail was sent. I tried this with several of my
contacts who had multiple e-mail addresses.
