How can I synchronize contacts between two computers in Outlook?

I would love to be able to synchronize Outlook items (especially contacts)
between my home, work, and laptop computers.

I have found numerous products that are suppose to do this but all of them
seem to have painful limitations. I need the solution to work over the
internet and to actually update Outlook, and not require an Exchange server
or cost a fortune. That eliminates everything I've found so far.

Have a look at Yahoo Mail Intellisync.- you will need to create a Yahoo
account to use it, but that will synchronise Contacts, Calendar (with some
limitations) and Tasks between Outlook and Yaoo Mail. You then do it the
other way on the other machine. Not a complete answer, but not far off!

Gordon, thanks for the suggestion. I tried that a few years ago and it was
better than nothing but doesn't quite meet my objective because it doesn't
happen automtically and I have to manage how updates are performed. What I
really want is something that works seamlessly like Foldershare.
