I am making a poster and need to 'square' a word like in a math problem.ie.
(Chaos + Confusion) x Idiocy 2= . I can't figure out how to elevate the 2 to
show that the word idiocy is to the second power.

Select the two and apply superscript to the format of the font
(Format>Font). You may also want to increase the size of the font. Or you
can use an Advance field to alter the vertical position of the font.

Hope this helps.

You could do a superscript (Ctrl-shift-+, then 2), as someone
suggests. But in many fonts it's clearer if you use the actual
"squared" character that is part of the font. There are three ways
to do this:

1. Insert -> Symbol; select "Normal text: in the font box and then
click the squared symbol.

2. Alt-0178 (numeric keypad only)

3. 00B2 then press Alt-X.
