I want to set up a dropdown box in Powerpoint that will mimick functionality
that we will eventually be using in a software program that is being
developed. How can I set that up? For example, I want to click on what
appears to be a dropdown boc, it then oens up a dropdown picklist, I can then
click on an item in that picklist and another window opens...

I tried to do this with three rectangles on top of each other. One said
'Male', another 'Female' and on top a rectangle that said 'Select' with an
arrow - the drop down box. I used the motion path down animation and set them
to move down, one more than the other and set the second to go with previous.
This takes a lot of trial and error to get them to align properly. I then put
a white rectangle with transparent fill over the dropped-down sections and
hyperlinked this to next slide - the new window! Does this accomplish what
you want to do, or at least give you a start in the right direction?
