i want to send this project which uses sound from my personal files.
do i have to send also the music files which i use? if that is true, what
exactly do i have to do?

Depends on the type of sound. If the sound is a wav file and is not larger
than what you have set (max 50000kb) and you presentation does not exceed
the maximum file size allowed by your ISP, it is embedded and will travel
automatically with the presentation. All other files are linked and must
accompany the presentation.. In this case, the best way is to put the sound
files into the same folder as your presentation before you insert them. then
send the presentation and the sound files as an attachment to your email.

As I know, PowerPoint DON NOT embed your audio and video files (only WAV
audio file within 100kb can be embedded). If you want to email a presentation
with external audio and video, you need to package them with correct relative
path to presentation. All versions of PowerPoint work in this way, even the
latest PowerPoint2007.

Actually, emailing a presentation with rich-media has other solutions. For
example, you can convert your PowerPoint to Flash movie with all media
embedded and email the Flash file. If you'd like to do so, you can try some
conversion tools such as Wondershare PPT2Flash (
http://www.sameshow.com/powerpoint-to-flash-editions.html).

I hope this can help you :-)
